have done about the Christian Reconstructionists and their branch
called the Dominion Theologists. Someone posted about them in

I would have categorized this as having so many other ramifications I
thought it worthwhile to mention this point here: this political lobby
is seriously rewiring the whole formal institutional and formal policy
output on these following levels as well:
anti-racism --- economic justice --- education --- election fraud
[they simply don't care. This is a technique they are using to gain
power, besides, "Christianity and democracy are at odds with one
another," so they claim--one quote from the films.] --- environment

Televangelical Tentacles

There is a defining moment in the life of every news organisation that
marks a coming of age. In the case of CNN it was the opening
bombardment of the first Gulf war. The upstart cable channel went live
to Peter Arnett in Baghdad, while the traditional broadcast networks
could only watch from their New York studios in shock and awe.
In the case of the Manchester Guardian, it was the day in 1959 when
the paper reached beyond its Mancunian roots to become a national
newspaper. And in the case of The 700 Club, Pat Robertson's daily
evangelical news broadcast, it was November 3 2004. The day it became
clear that George Bush had won a second term.
This day formally marked the transformation of The 700 Club. No longer
could it be viewed as an outlet of relevance only to the loony
Christian right. Not only did it join the ranks of the mainstream
media. In many ways it supplanted them. Suddenly, if you seriously
wanted to take the pulse of America, you had to tune your TV to the
news division of televangelism.
The 700 Club has been operating under the radar of traditional
journalistic scrutiny for over two decades. Anchored by Pat Robertson,
he initially created it as a vehicle to promote his personal political
ambitions. After his failed presidential bid in 1988, Robertson
founded the Christian Coalition and embarked on an ambitious plan to
influence the mainstream political agenda from the inside out.
He used The 700 Club as the marketing and political advocacy tool of
this plan. The broadcast's focus is instructing viewers on how they
could best lobby elected officials to enact the Christian right's agenda.
Robertson's show regularly has more viewers than CNN. And while the
rest of the world wasn't watching he has been phenomenally successful
in realising a three part blueprint to essentially take over all
branches of the US Government.
Goal number one was to take over Congress, and Robertson can honestly
take credit for the Republican revolution of 1994. Of the 52 freshman
Republican congressman, who ended four decades of Democratic rule that
year, 44 owed their election to the Christian coalition which endorsed
them on The 700 Club. The coalition's scorecards, ranking candidates
on issues from abortion to marriage and family were a regular feature
of the broadcast, promoting hand-picked candidates and discrediting
unfavourable ones.
Goal number two was the presidency. George Bush made it to the White
House and is there today, because of the lockstep support of The 700
Club's faithful, who make up the bedrock of the "values voter".
Goal number three is yet to be achieved: taking over the legislature.
From his anchor chair, Robertson is coordinating an intricate strategy
to de-liberalise every court from the Supreme Court down to federal
judges at the district level.
The key to Robertson's success so far has been his obsessive attention
to legislative details, the minute, often picayune rules that together
constitute the levers of political change. In his attempt to wrestle
control of the last branch of government his approach is the same.
Up to now arcane Senate rules have impeded the appointment of jurists
friendly to the Robertson agenda. So Robertson is using his television
pulpit to change them. Current Senate regulations allow a minority of
Democrats to prevent votes on judges they don't like from ever taking
place by employing a technical filibuster. The filibuster can only be
overturned by a super-majority of sixty senators - a number
Republicans cannot reach.
But Robertson has discovered that the Senate filibuster rules can be
amended at the opening of the next Senate session in January at the
discretion of the Senate majority leader Bill Frist - a detail
insiders say the Tennessee Republican was not even aware of himself.
So for weeks Robertson has been flashing the senator's telephone
number on the screen and imploring viewers to jam the congressional
switchboard with demands that Frist change the filibuster rules so
that it can be overturned by a simple majority of 51 votes - a number
Republicans can muster. Frist is now considering doing just that. Come
January the procedural block on a raft of reactionary judges may be
lifted before the first gavel comes down.
While the admittedly liberal mainstream media are still scratching
their heads, wondering how they missed the tectonic shift in favour of
the Christian right in this country, they may still be looking in the
wrong place for hints at what the future holds.
CNN's promotional tagline may be "watch what happens next", but to
really know what's about to unfold in today's America you need to
switch on The 700 Club.

Who's behind these private companies? It's hard to tell: the corporate
lines - even the bloodlines - of these "competitors" are so
intricately mixed. For example, at Diebold - whose corporate chief,
Wally O'Dell, a top Bush fundraiser, has publicly committed himself to
"delivering" his home state's votes to Bush next year - the election
division is run by Bob Urosevich. Bob's brother, Todd, is a top
executive at "rival" ES&S. The brothers were originally staked in the
vote-count business by Howard Ahmanson, a member of the Council for
National Policy, a right-wing "steering group" stacked with Bushist
faithful.
Ahmanson is also one of the bagmen behind the extremist "Christian
Reconstructionist" movement, which openly advocates a theocratic
takeover of American democracy, placing the entire society under the
"dominion" of "Christ the King." This "dominion" includes the death
penalty for homosexuals, exclusion of citizenship for non-Christians,
stoning of sinners and - we kid you not - slavery, "one of the most
beneficent of Biblical laws."
Ahmanson also has major holdings in ES&S, whose former CEO is
Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. When Hagel ran for office,
his own company counted the votes; needless to say, his initial
victory was reported as "an amazing upset." Hagel still has a
million-dollar stake in the parent company of ES&S. In Florida, Jeb
Bush's first choice for a running mate in his 1998 gubernatorial race
was ES&S lobbyist Sandra Mortham, who made a mint installing the
machines that counted Jeb's votes.

COMMENTS AFTER VIEWING THESE FILMS:
My prediction: they are going to call a Constitutional Convention and
the NWO elites (in my opinion of course, this is a long story on the
evidence of network interconnections here between the political
religious in the U.S. and the CIA and the Rockefellers, to make for a
short explanation) are going to guide them into destroying their own
(widely unused) freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of
inquiry, and freedom of conscience as a framework of diversity,
learning, and tolerance. They want a centralized mind control state
(on the second video, I shuddered a bit at the mass media uniformity
of a huge room of hundreds of small kids under the regimen of "moral
based" headphones learning in carrels, passed off "educational
Christian frameworks" as early as the 1980s--this is very NWO).
In my opinion, the Chrstian right is their fatted calf that they are
sacrificing first. In only their own hubris, these people are unable
to see themselves as part of someone's larger strategy. I don't think
for a moment that they are actually in control, in and of themselves.
I don't ever want to hear anyone talk about Muslim Shi'a in a
depreciating or amusing tone (meaning, easy to dismiss). These people
are the Protestant American Shi'a, and no one in the United States has
the right to condem Muslim religious intolerance after watching these
films about American religious intolerance that is even more
organized! They own the vote machines (Abramson, Jr.), and they are
intimately connected with an incrasing majority in the legislature and
(who knows about Bush's actual beliefs, though they are assocaited
with) the public personae of George W. Bush. These videos show that
what has been going on is hardly a religious movement. It is a Party
movement, with a capital P. Or make that "Partei" (German word for Party).
I'm not particularly faithful about anything, meaning having a
metaphysical groundwork for daily human morality and judgement, and I
see nothing wrong with that. I don't see it as a lack. I believe in
the rightness of multiple paths, and I believe in human ethics as a
groundwork from which to work in all relationships (particularly to
other species), however, whatever gods there are please help us remove
the devil spawn who think they are Christians. They are totally misled
and intentionally so from the powerful streams of money that are being
shoveled at them. They look so very gullible, desparate, forlorn, and
frightened on the films while the only angry ones are the ones preaching.
Do not underestimate the power of politicized religion, or the
manipulative power of organized fear. Anyone knew they did book/music
burnings in the U.S., in the 1980s?!
